I chose a quaint little coffee shop, rather than the traditional bookstore environment. I do plan on having signings at bookstores; after all, I adore them. But for this first venture, I wanted to do something a bit different.
It was a pleasant sort of crowded atmosphere, and it smelt heavenly!
I provided some tasty treats and all kinds of fun SWAG including recipe cards, cookie cutters, magnets, and sachets, plus I had a giveaway: earrings, rose compacts, key chains, charm bookmarks, silk scarf, Cadbury Chocolates, and a scented candle.
There was a short question and answer session, I read an excerpt from The Earl’s Enticement, and of course, I signed books!
The absolute funnest part was just visiting with everyone that stopped by, some of whom I’d never met before.
