TUESDAY’S TIDBITS AND TRIVIA

I’m keeping it simple today. I’ve taken the month of November off from teaching to write my fourth book. I’m not officially participating in NANO, but I hope to get a huge jump on this novel. 

So today’s focus is some Scot’s expressions and words I used in The Earl’s Enticement. 

• Yer bums out the window- You’re in big trouble.
• Darker than the Earl of Hell’s waistcoat-pitch black
• Yer aff yer head- addled, mad, crazy
• Clootie Dumpling -A type of bread pudding fabulous with whipped cream
• Rumbledethump-traditional Scottish cabbage and onion dish
