I’m keeping it simple today. I’ve taken the month of November off from teaching to write my fourth book. I’m not officially participating in NANO, but I hope to get a huge jump on this novel.
So today’s focus is some Scot’s expressions and words I used in The Earl’s Enticement.
- Yer bums out the window- You’re in big trouble.
- Darker than the Earl of Hell’s waistcoat-pitch black
- Yer aff yer head- addled, mad, crazy
- Clootie Dumpling -A type of bread pudding fabulous with whipped cream
- Rumbledethump-traditional Scottish cabbage and onion dish

And of course, I have to post a picture to give you a hint about the story. You’ll have to read the book to find out why this is important!
