I was deep in edits for Bride of Falcon (Captivated by His Kiss Regency Boxed Novella Set, January 12, 2015) last Tuesday, so I missed the Romance Weekly blog.
This week Sarah Hegger wants us to tell you our three favorite book boyfriends, why they are our favorites.
Just three, hmm, that’s not going to be easy.
I hope you skipped over her from her blog too.
Here goes:
Book One
My first choice has to be Brandon Birmingham from The Flame and the Flower by Kathleen Woodiwiss.
That book was the first romance I read after being introduced to romance novels via Barbara Cartland. As an impressionable teenager, Brandon was all the thinks I thought were romantic. A handsome, alpha male but oh, so loyal and gentle too. Sigh.
Book Two:
Noah Calhoun from The Notebook.
He made me cry, which is something I rarely do while reading or watching movies. Maybe because I’m of an age where I have parents and grandparents who are affected by Alzheimers, but Noah’s love for Allie was timeless, and his devotion unmatched.
Book Three:
Okay, this is so unoriginal, but my third hero has to be Jamie Fraser from Outlander. What can I say? He’s Scottish, gallant, brave, hunky …
Okay, let’s head over to Susan Scot Shelley and see who her three boyfriends are.
