I don’t know about the rest of you, but Friday’s I gorge myself on these tasty tidbits authors are offering up. And there’s such a delectable assortment to choose from!
I know you know the drill by now, but just in case we have some newbies stop by, I have to post the rules.

I’ve been buried in edits for Triumph and Treasure, so I want to take a break and let you read a snippet from my short story, Heart of a Highlander which will be part of Windtree Press’s Valentine Anthology.
I don’t know that I’ve mentioned it before, but all my stories are connected in some way. Keeping them all straight in my head . . . well, that’s a whole other tale.
In this scene, Giselle and Hugh are caught in a snow storm, and being the Scots knight that he is, he gallantly offers to warm her.

“Ah, much better. My fingers are near frozen.”
“I’d be happy to warm yer hands. . . .” Hugh winked and wagged his eyebrows. “And the rest of ye, lass.”
Giselle’s sable brows swooped upward, and her mouth dropped open, then snapped shut. “I don’t—”
