I had to do considerable research about cooking in the the Regency era because I mention
stoves in two of my books. Historical accuracy is very important to me, so I dug around until I found exactly what kind of stove would have been in use in 1815-1817.

I’m also very fortunate to own four antique stoves, two of which are cook stoves. An aqua enamel plated cast iron cook stove is on my back porch adorned with birdhouses and rocks. (I’m a rock nut too!)
