I love Fridays!
I never know just what wonderful snippets I’ll get to read. It’s amazing how just five lines are enough to hook me and leave me wanting more.

In this scene, Chaz Faulkenhurst is ruminating on his love for Ivy.

In love and without a means of providing for her.
Only a fool believed love was enough to make a go of it. Oh, but he’d play the fool, a thousand times over, for one chance to make Ivy his. He’d gamble his life for that opportunity and worry about how to care for her once she was his.
