My snippet is from my December release, Triumph and Treasure, the first stand-alone book in the Highland Heather Romancing A Scot Series.
“Flynn, I thought you were one of the girls.”
She laughed at the absurdity of the statement. The body pressing into hers was anything besides feminine. She started to turn around.
He stilled her by putting both hands on her bare shoulders.
A rush of desire nearly had her bones melting against him.
Okay, I know. That was six lines, but I couldn’t make it work with just five this time.
