Keeping, Tossing, and Making New Christmas Traditions

I’m chatting about Christmas Traditions over on Romance Writer’s Weekly today!
We go all out, inside and outside of our house, though I confess, now that my children are grown and I don’t have any grandbabies yet (Kids, do you see me impatiently tapping my toes?) the dynamics are not quite as magical.
When my three kids were little, the Christmas Elf would come every night in December and leave a small treat in their stockings if they’d been good children that day. As they got older, the treats got bigger (dang) and the tradition wasn’t one they wanted to give up. I still remember the first year my oldest son came home from college, and the minute he walked in the door, he dropped his bags and headed to the fireplace to count his stash.
