| Regency Era Bathing Attire |
I absolutely adore Christian Fiction Historical Society’s blog. They post the most fascinating things there. Yesterday, I came across this article on Victorian bathing suits. I love the term ‘bathing suit.’ Remember, there was a day when you didn’t get buck naked to bathe. It was indecent.
But, I digress.

Of course I had to do a bit of research Regency swimming or sea bathing as it was called. Remember, it was all the thing to tootle down to Bath and take the waters. This article from Jane Austen’s World has some lovely illustrations.
